Shareholder Update 2026

We are writng to share an important business update with you.

Todd and Maddie Holmes have now purchased the shareholdings of Andrew and Val Jackson, and Harry and Cushla Jackson.

After establishing the original business in 1991, Andrew and Val have decided the time is right to move on and enjoy their retirement years. We thank them for their hard work and values which helped shape the business.

Harry and Cushla will be pursuing a career in the dairy industry. Harry will continue working for Jackson Holmes throughout the 2026/27 season in a background role, helping to ensure a smooth transition for our operations team.
We thank Harry for his many years of service and wish them the best with future endeavours.

Jackson Holmes Contracting is built on strong relationships, shared values, and a positive team culture. Over the years, that culture has grown to include our dedicated permanent staff, seasonal operators, loyal customers, suppliers, and the wider community who have all played a part in our journey.

As we look to the future, our commitment and culture remain unchanged. We will continue to provide the high-quality service our customers have come to expect while supporting the community in which we live and work.

It makes us especially proud that this transition has been completed in the same spirit that has defined the Jackson family and Holmes family’s business relationship and friendship over the past 27 years since Todd first began working for Andrew and Val as a teenager. Mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to the future of Jackson Holmes Contracting.

Ownership has evolved but the story continues. Honouring the past and the people who built this business will always remain an important part of preserving the proud history that has been achieved over the past 35 years.
